Biology learning requires instructional media that help students understand abstract and complex concepts, particularly those related to the structures and functions of living organisms. Three-dimensional (3D) learning media offer an alternative approach to presenting learning materials through more concrete and visual representations. This study aims to investigate the effect of 3D learning media on biology conceptual understanding among Grade X students at SMA Negeri 6 Gorontalo. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed, involving 47 students divided into a control group and an experimental group. The experimental group received instruction using 3D learning media, while the control group received conventional instruction. Data were collected through a conceptual understanding test and analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality testing, homogeneity testing, and an independent samples t-test. The results revealed a statistically significant difference in biology conceptual understanding between the two groups, with the experimental group achieving higher scores than the control group. These findings suggest that 3D learning media have the potential to support students’ conceptual understanding of biology through more concrete and visual representations of learning materials.
